Many of the keyboard shortcuts for selected text are the same on both iPad and iPhone with a hardware keyboard as they are on macOS, which makes it easier to shift between devices. Some actions operate on the selected text, such as Wikipedia, Web Search, Map Search, Speak and Tweet. Some actions use the entire document if there is no selection, such as Mail or Speak.
Commands are provided for Actions, Display Style, Document Listing, Search, Files and other functions.
On iPad and iPhone, Keyboard Shortcuts are only available if you are using an external Bluetooth keyboard.
Here are the graphic symbols for modifier keys. Use these modifier keys to perform the keyboard shortcuts.
