Cut selected text in task, or cut the selected tasks as a colorized table in RTF (Rich Text Format), or as plain tab-delimited text. All columns of the List view are cut, even if they are not visible.

Task List Navigation Keyboard Shortcuts

Up Arrow

If a task row is selected, then select the previous task. Hold Shift to extend the selection. Hold Option to move to the first task.

Down Arrow

If a task row is selected, then select the next task. Hold Shift to extend the selection. Hold Option to move to the last task.

Home

Move to the top of the task list.

End

Move to the bottom of the task list.

Page Down and Page Up

Move a page down or up in the task list.

Tab

If a task row is selected, then select the first column of that task for text editing.

Command ⌘ click Tasks

Command ⌘ click tasks in the task list to add or remove them from the selection. This method allows discontinguous selections.

Timeline View Navigation Keyboard Shortcuts

Space

Scroll horizontally to position the current date at the left of the Timeline view.

Arrow Keys

Scroll in the direction of the arrow.

Arrow Keys with Option

Scroll a larger distance

Arrow Keys with Command (⌘)

Scroll a MUCH larger distance

Arrow Keys with Shift

Press Shift with the left or right arrow keys to move the focus one day and scroll to the task closest to the focus date. Press Shift with the up or down arrow keys to move the focus 30 days.

Page Down and Page Up

Move a page down or up in the Timeline view.

Home

Move to the top left of the Timeline view.

End

Move to the bottom of the Timeline view.
