Perspectiva adds two great new features, Full Screen Mode and a popover for font selection!
- The beautiful full screen mode provides for an immersive presentation of calendar and chart views, using your customized background photo or image, background tint color, and text fonts and colors.
- To enter and exit full screen mode, do a two-finger tap on one of the main calendar or chart views, or tap the gray triangle button in the upper right corner.
- Full screen mode hides both the top navigation bar and the bottom tab bar.
- To navigate the calendar views in full screen mode, use the swipe left and right gestures to navigate to the previous or next time frame, or swipe up to navigate to a larger time frame (moving from Day to Week to Month to Year view), or swipe down to a smaller time frame (moving from Year to Month to Week to Day to List view), or tap on a day in the Week or Month view, or a Month in the Year view.
- Perspectiva's full screen mode is suitable for display as a kiosk image, perhaps delivering the iPad or iPhone app screen to a larger external display via AirPlay / Screen Mirroring, and could include one of the slideshows (All Views, This Week, Backgrounds, or Layouts)
- When choosing fonts for events, titles and day numbers, the Select Font view now appears as a popover on the iPhone screen so one can see the live font changes in the calendar views.

Perspectiva, the graphic calendar app for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, gets an improvement and a bug fix:
- New toolbar tinting: The Background Color setting (in the Display view) is used to tint the toolbars at the top and bottom if the Toolbar Style is "none".
- The top Status bar is now properly configured for variations of the Graphics Style.
- Now users can customize the background color of their calendar views even more, with more expressive visual personality!

Perspectiva gets improvements and a bug fix for customized graphics display styles:
- Choosing a preset Graphics Style (Light, Medium Light, Medium, Medium Dark, Dark) in the Display view (the gear icon) results in an app-based preset display style. These presets will not respond to changes in the Dark Mode (on/off) on the device.
- To let the app respond to Dark Mode changes, choose None for the Graphics Style in the Display view.
- Fixed bug: Customizations to the Graphics Style, such as background color, or other colors or Display view, are now properly restored upon relaunching the app.

- The Today Highlight Color was inadvertently set to the default color red upon reactiving the app in certain configurations of settings. Now the Today Highlight Color will maintain user customization and automatically adjust it's brightness appropriately if the user changes the dark/light appearance (Dark Mode) of the device.
- Fixed issues with color settings when Graphics Style was set to "none" on devices running iOS 13.0 or later.

Calendar Sets
Perspectiva adds the powerful new Calendar Sets feature to organize groups of calendars into named sets for faster setup of focused calendar displays, calculations, and bar and pie charts, and calendar data export. This is great for businesses, organizations and other users that need complex filtering of calendar data for analysis and presentation.
Using Calendar Sets
- To navigate to the Calendar Sets feature, tap the Filter button (magnifying glass). The Filter view appears; then tap the Calendars item and the Calendars view appears. Tap the Calendar Sets item to open the Calendar Sets features in the Calendars view.
- To create a new Calendar Set, first enable the desired calendars from your custom calendars in the list, then tap the plus (+) button after "Add or delete calendar set". In the "New calendar set" alert, enter the desired name for the calendar set. Tap "New" and the calendar set is created and then displayed in the Calendar Sets section with an icon of four boxes.
- Create other calendar sets in the same manner.
- Tapping a calendar set will enable the calendars in that set only.
- If a calendar set has been selected, a checkmark appears next to it in the list.
- Enabling individual calendars in the list will disable any selected calendar set.
- To delete a calendar set, first enable it in the Calendar Sets list, then tap the minus (—) button after "Add or delete calendar set".
- To aid in creating calendar sets, tap the Hide/Show All Calendars item as needed.
Calendar Sets is one of those features that we have always wanted to implement, and a much appreciated Perspectiva user requested this and pushed us to finally get it done! Enjoy!

Perspectiva gets new improvements and iOS 13 Dark Mode support:
- To get the benefits of Dark Mode support in iOS 13, choose the "none" Graphics Style in the Display settings view. Then the light or dark appearance will follow the iOS 13 appearance dynamically.
- The app appearance can be further customized in the Display settings in all supported versions of iOS.
- The app appearance can be customized with in-app 'dark mode' in versions before iOS 13.
- Fixed issues with view behavior on iPad Pro with app Slide Over and Side by Side display modes.

- This Perspectiva calendar app update improves the Year view layout with automatic scaling of the day number font size, working in combination with Perspectiva's View Layout Style feature. About 48 layout styles are available, providing a wide range of easy-to-choose possibilities, which is great for creating promotional and informative calendar graphics. Graphics can be exported as PDF or PNG images, or to print directly on an AirPrint-compatible printer, with photos or graphics for backgrounds. Use background images from Perspectiva's built-in gallery, or choose from your own photo library, or snap a photo right with the Perspectiva app.

The Perspectiva interface gets some modernizing, better for 'dark mode' and other Graphic Styles, and also providing more fluid interaction with popover views.
- Chart Type and Chart Data settings views and the Add Event views for the Day and Week views are now popover views that appear near the tapped region. These popovers are easier to dismiss by tapping anywhere outside. The Bar Chart Settings view displays the current settings with checkmarks for the chart type and the frame time interval.
- To change the Bar Chart Settings, tap in the bar chart area of the Bar Chart view.
- Other Bar Chart settings can be changed in the Display Settings view (with the gear icon).
- These updates make the app more consistent in 'dark mode' and other Graphic Styles.
- The List view now uses the View Layout Style in the Display settings view.
- The Filter, Extras (Help), and Actions views are no longer part of the More view list on iPhone. They are available in the top toolbar.

New iCloud Settings option:
- Added option to Use iCloud For Settings to Perspectiva, useful for syncing display and filter settings across multiple devices, and for remote controlled kiosk calendar display!
Use iCloud For Settings
- The Use iCloud For Settings option in the Display settings view enables sharing of the Perspectiva app display and filter settings to iCloud and other devices you have signed in to iCloud.
Instructions:
- If you are switching from one device (iPhone or iPad) to another, or use multiple devices, then FIRST turn this option for the original Perspectiva device to use those settings in iCloud.
- The device must be connected to the Internet and your iCloud account.
- Press the home button to exit Perspectiva. This will sync your Perspectiva display settings via iCloud.
- Then, enable this option on other devices to get the desired display settings from iCloud.
- When making changes on one device, the other device(s) will update shortly after (about 15 seconds).
- Background images are not synced between devices in the version.
Remote-controlled kiosk calendar display
This feature can be use to change the display on an iPad or iPhone remotely, such as a iPad used as a calendar display kiosk. That device may also be connected to an external display such as an Apple TV. Configure both the iPad and your iPhone Perspectiva to Use iCloud For Settings.

Refined feature: A color indicator band on the right edge of the List view indicates near current events. If the event is in progress (the current time is between the start and end times), then the indicator color is orange. If the event is in the past, the indicator is blue. A blue shaded color indicator band is displayed on the right edge of events if they are with the last 24 hours, or orange shaded if the events are within the next 24 hours. The intensity of the color is greater if the event is closer to the current time, and lighter if the event is farther from the current time.

Version 2.0 is built for iOS 7, includes event mapping (an In-App Purchase) and many other new features and improvements to behavior and graphic design.
- Added Perspectiva Store view for In-App Purchases. Tap Location in the event Activities view to open the Store and purchase the Event Mapping Level 1 product.
- Event Mapping Level 1 (In-App Purchase): A new Map view is available for displaying and selecting event locations with a street address or coordinates (i.e. {37.332331,-122.031219} ). Offline selection of coordinates is possible on the currently cached map. To set an event location, tap the event to open the Activity view, then tap Location to open the Map view. In iOS4, coordinate locations can be displayed on the built-in map view, street address-type locations are displayed in the Maps app if the device is connected to the internet.
- To view directions to a event location, tap the event, tap Location in the Activities view, and tap the Directions button at the bottom of the Map view. This opens the Maps app and displays directions.
- Let events accumulate on map as they are viewed, or tap the Actions menu button at the bottom of the map view and choose Clear Events From Map.
New actions in the Actions view:
- Add Event With Contact: Select a contact from your Contacts database and a new event will be created with the contact's name and organization as the event title, and the contact's address as the event location.

- On iPad, tap the day number in the Month view to view the Day view. Tap events in the Month view on iPad to choose and activity for the event.
- All-day events are displayed in a separate section at the top of the Day and Week views.
- To hide or show the top toolbar (fullscreen mode), tap the triangle button in the upper right corner of the view. Use fullscreen mode to see a bit more information in the calendar or chart views on smaller screens such as iPod touch or iPhone.
- Tap the Pie Chart or Bar Chart calendar names to choose what to use for the chart data: Hours, Hours %, Event Count, or Event Count %.
