Speech Commands Module 1 provides speech control for various actions, including task selection, speaking, setting priorities and status, sorting, and other actions. The speech control uses the macOS Speakable Items system (in System Preferences / Accessibility).
Speech Commands Module 1 is an In App Purchase. To purchase the Speech Commmands module, choose Purchase Additional Features in the File menu.
Open System Preferences in the Apple menu or the Dock.
Open Accessibility in System Preferences.
Select Speakable Items in the left column of Accessibility.
Turn on Speakable Items in the Settings panel. As needed, choose the desired microphone, calibrate and set other options.
To purchase the Speech Commands Module 1 in TaskInsight, choose Purchase Additional Features in the File menu of TaskInsight.
The TaskInsight In App Purchase Store appears in a window. Click the purchase button with the price. You will be asked to enter your AppleID username (an e-mail address) and password for the App Store.
If you have already purchased Speech Commands Module 1 on a different computer with the same AppleID account, you can click the Restore button to enable speech commands on the current computer.
Click Done to close the In App Purchase Store window.
Once the purchase has been completed with the App Store, the Speech Commands window of the Speakable Items system will display the speech commands for TaskInsight in the lower panel. The upper panel displays a log of the spoken commands. Here is a possible screen layout of the Speech Commands, the round Speakable Items feedback window, and a TaskInsight document.

The Speakable Items system in OS X also provides access to other commands in the app, such as the ability to open menus and choose menu commands. See the Menu Bar section in the Speech Commands panel.
The Front Window commands include additional commands. When the Document Settings drawer is open, additional commands appear the Speech Commands window corresponding to controls in the drawer, depending on which view is visible, List or Timeline.
To configure Text-To-Speech for use in TaskInsight, open System Preferences in the Apple menu or the Dock.
Choose Dictation & Speech and choose the Text to Speech panel.
Choose the desired System Voice and Speaking Rate.
