Berkeley, California--January 15, 2006: Imaja announces the release of PicScan 2.0, new slideshow/browser software for Mac OS X. PicScan is available now for $19.95 from Imaja.
PicScan is an easy to use image slideshow generator and thumbnail browser. Slideshows can be controlled interactively using the keyboard or a thumbnail view. PicScan supports two monitors for interactive use with laptop computers and video projectors.
Images dissolve smoothly from one to the next, and the pacing and other parameters can be interactively controlled from the keyboard during the slideshow.
Thumbnail views are easily navigated and configured with any size for thumbnails. A powerful toolbar gives easy access to commands for creating slideshows or thumbnails.
With Quicktime installed, PicScan supports all file formats Quicktime supports: JPG, GIF, TIFF, PICT, PSD, etc.
PicScan 2.0 is built for Mac OS X. Version 1.3.9 for Mac OS 9, Mac OS 8 is also available. PicScan requires 20MB RAM and a Power Macintosh or 68K-based Mac OS computer. Quicktime recommended.
