Berkeley, California — September 6, 2012: Imaja announces Perspectiva, a new iPad and iPhone calendar app providing extensive graphic customization, time usage charts, and much more. Sophisticated calendar graphics can be created with a custom background image and color, fonts, font colors, transparency, and variations of the user’s calendar colors.

Perspectiva also provides time analysis charts, including pie, bar and line charts. The charts provide tools to present time usage for a set of calendars (projects, clients, or activities) over a specified time period. The line charts display how time use is distributed over a span of time, such as a week, month or year. The text search function provides an additional way to filter events for chart views.

Perspectiva also provides time calculations, event log and graphics exporting, keyword filtering, and better readability. Perspectiva displays iCal calendar events as well as providing support for iCloud, Google, Yahoo, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Hotmail, Aol., CalDAV and subscription calendars. Export event listings and graphics by e-mail as text, CSV, TSV or PDF files. For time billing and logs, Perspectiva calculates total hours, number of events and total amount, based on user’s rate per hour and user’s filter settings. Calculations also includes minimum, maximum and average duration of events. Filtered calendar listings can be easily copied with time/billing calculations for pasting into user reports or e-mails, or exported as CSV or TSV files.

Perspectiva’s Filter lets users easily choose a single calendar, multiple calendars or all calendars, and includes a text search, useful for creating event listings based on keywords, phrases, names, dates or times. A date range can be set to filter the visible events in the List view, bar and pie charts, and for exporting event logs.

Use swipe and tap gestures to navigate to different time views, or Go To Today or Go To Date to navigate to specific dates.

Calendar event listings can be exported by e-mail as attached CSV (Comma-Separated Values), TSV (Tab-Separated Values) files, and calendar graphics can be exported as PDF files, including custom fonts, colors and background images.

Background images may be selected from the user’s photo library, a set of built-in background textures and landscapes, or by taking a new photo using the camera on the iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. The extensive graphics customization can be used to create custom calendar graphics for business, organization, school or home. All views are printable via AirPrint to AirPrint compatible printers. Perspectiva supports hi-resolution Retina displays on the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch for crisp text and background images.

Perspectiva features a display of all calendar event text, unique and fluid readability of calendar logs. The font size can be changed instantly with pinch touch gestures for better readability or higher density. Fonts, sizes, colors, and transparency can be changed in the Settings view.

Calendar names and colors can be edited within Perspectiva, and new calendars can be created for clients, projects or activities. Calendars are synced with iCal calendars running on the user’s Mac OS X computer via iTunes on their computer or wirelessly via iCloud.
