IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
CalReader 2.0 Features Calendar Readability, Time Calculations, and Event Listing Export for iOS/iPhone/iPod touch -
Released by Imaja
Berkeley, California April 14, 2011: Imaja announces CalReader 2.0,
an upgraded calendar/productivity app for iOS/iPhone/iPod touch, providing refined readability,
filtering, time calculations and event listing export for calendars, supporting sync with
iCal, MobileMe, Google and Yahoo CalDAV calendars.
CalReader 2.0 functions have been reorganized for more efficient navigation to the expanded functionality. The Filter settings, Actions, Display, Calculations and Extras sections are quickly accessible.
Calendar event listings can be exported by e-mail as attached CSV (Comma-Separated Values) or TSV (Tab-Separated Values) files. The new Done button provides direct return to the main CalReader view from nested function views. Event listings now include the duration for each event. The export text generated by the Copy Text With Calculations command now includes a header with the current calendar names, date range and optional search text.
CalReader features a display of all calendar event text, unique and fluid
readability of calendar logs. The font size can be changed instantly with
pinch touch gestures for better readability or higher density. Fonts and font sizes can be changed in the Settings view. Several
color styles are available, using variations of the user's calendar colors.
CalReader's Filter lets users easily choose a single calendar, multiple
calendars or all calendars for viewing. The filter includes a text
search, useful for creating event listings based on keywords, phrases, names, dates or times. A date range
can be set to filter the visible events.
CalReader calculates total hours, number of events and total amount,
based on your rate per hour and your filter settings. Newly added calculations include minimum, maximum and average duration of events. Filtered calender
listings can be easily copied with or without time/billing calculations
for pasting into user reports or e-mails, or exported as CSV or TSV files.
Imaja’s Greg Jalbert, the creator of CalReader, enthusiastically relates,
“CalReader is uniquely valuable for reading time logs, reviewing
the details, locations and notes of events, and the time/billing calculations
are essential for time logging and reporting, tracking progress and retrieving calendar histories
on a multitude of projects. The flexibility of calendar font and color
styles provides optimal readability for studying calendar history for various projects, clients and keyword searches.”
CalReader 2.0 is $3.99 USD, available worldwide exclusively from Apple's
iTunes App Store in the Productivity category.
